Masteries are long-term, glove-specific task sets that unlock an upgraded Mastered variant. The maintained community page says the feature launched on January 17, 2025, progress is permanent, eligible gloves show a crown control in their details, and a completed Mastered variant can be enabled or disabled from that window. When toggled while already in the Normal Arena, the change applies after respawn.

The same page marked itself potentially outdated and documented 46 supported gloves at its June 24, 2026 checkpoint. That is a useful snapshot, not a permanent total. New Masteries, task counts, private-server rules, cooldowns, and effects can change, so always read the live crown panel before committing to a long grind.

Evidence checkpoint: Mastery system structure and the documented roster are Community reported, checked 2026-08-08. Exact task counts and Mastered effects need comparison with the current in-game panel. No task progress was tested by this site.

How Mastery progression works

Open the glove inventory, select an eligible glove, and use the crown control next to Equip. The panel lists multiple objectives specific to that glove: examples include ability uses, slaps after a particular action, environmental hits, eliminations caused by the glove, objects placed, or a badge prerequisite. Progress can continue beyond the requirement as a statistic, but only the displayed objectives unlock Mastered.

Complete every current objective, return to the Mastery window, and enable the variant. Respawn if the ability or appearance does not change immediately. Record whether the panel says a task permits a private server; the community overview says Mastery quests generally do not, apart from some badge-related exceptions.

A clean session loop

Take a screenshot of the live tasks and starting counters. Choose one objective rather than trying to satisfy everything accidentally. Play normal rounds where the required action has a legitimate combat purpose, then reopen the panel after a small sample. If the counter did not move, correct the action before wasting an hour.

Pair compatible objectives when the game naturally permits it. An ability-use task and a timed slap task may share one sequence; a placement task and elimination task may share a setup. Do not arrange prohibited slap farming. The maintained community page explicitly distinguishes allowed non-slap Mastery farming from bannable slap farming, and the official experience warns against exploiting.

Choose effort by account stage

Early accounts should favor a glove already owned and understood. A low Slaps total does not make a huge endgame task efficient just because its Mastered effect ranks highly. Returning players can choose a project that opens a new role—mobility, control, defense, team utility, or a secondary R ability.

Collection-focused players should track prerequisites separately from progress. Some documented Masteries belong to badge gloves or otherwise specialized unlocks. Getting the glove can be the larger project, and a tier list that ignores that cost gives poor advice.

Evaluate the Mastered result

Test base and Mastered versions under the same conditions. Record cooldown, range, targeting, mobility, survivability, new controls, and whether a secondary action competes with the base ability. Cosmetic changes are useful identity signals but should not be confused with mechanical value.

Then decide whether Mastered stays enabled. The system is documented as toggleable; completing a Mastery does not force the variant into every situation. A base behavior can remain easier to use or better suited to a specific combo after balance changes.

Troubleshooting progress

If a counter does not move, confirm the exact glove, variant state, server type, target, timing window, location, and credit condition. Respawn after changing the variant. Rejoin a current server if the crown panel appears stale. Search for a current demonstration only after you can name the failing objective.

If progress resets unexpectedly, capture the panel before and after rejoining and report it through a creator-owned support channel. Community documentation says progress is permanent, so a genuine loss should be treated as a possible data issue rather than normal behavior.

Keep the evidence focused: glove name, base or Mastered state, objective text, starting value, valid action, ending value, server type, and UTC time. That record can distinguish a misunderstood condition from a counter bug and avoids repeating a large task on rumor.

The maintained Masteries page is the main working source, with recent community discussions used only for difficulty and preference signals. Continue to the Mastery List for task families or Best First for a selection workflow. All exact task requirements should be re-read in the current game.
